India: Witnessing A Strategic Partnership at Work
Join other ACCESS leaders for this once-in-a-lifetime trip to India. The delegation will visit Mumbai, Delhi, and Agra (to see the beautiful Taj Mahal) to meet with the Indian Jewish community, government officials, industry and hi-tech leaders, minority communities, and many others – and to connect for the last two days with AJC’s Board of Governors’ visit. May 6-16: Germany: Focus on Interreligious
This trip, sponsored by Germany Close-Up, will have a particular focus on interreligious affairs. Participants will have thesingular opportunity to represent the American Jewish community at Kirchentag, a major gathering of some 100,000 young German Protestants and Catholics, and to spearhead other highly unique interreligious outreach efforts in the academic and church spheres. This trip is designed specifically for people with an interest and with experience in interreligious affairs,including graduate students, young faculty, ACCESS members, and members of the media. Estimated cost: $650 (including international airfare and all costs on the ground in Germany).

In addition to exploring black-Jewish relations through the unique lens of South Africa, ACCESS members will join the South Africa Board of Deputies’ Annual Meeting. Cost: TBD (no subsidies available).
